What is massage?
Holistic Body Massage:
The term ‘holistic’ means ‘whole’ and refers to the promotion of health and well being for the whole body. Holistic massage involves the application of pressure to the surface of the skin, muscles and joints and is used to create a sense of physical and mental well being.

Sports Massage:
This is the manipulation of soft tissue for injury prevention and therapeutic purposes. Regular sports massage can help improve both performance and endurance and prevent overuse injuries and loss of joint mobility. By improving the circulation and manipulation of injured tissues, the formation of adhesions can be prevented, realigning and reducing scar tissue, resulting in a faster return to activity. It is also an effective method of releasing muscle spasms.

Myofascial Release:
Fascia is a fibrous network of collagen and elastin fibres, which weaves its way throughout the entire body, surrounding all muscles, bones and organs. If there is either trauma or injury to the body, or the body’s posture remains the same for any length of time, the fascia will bind and lay down more collagen, in turn becoming less flexible, dehydrated and stuck.

MFR uses soft tissue techniques involving gentle sustained pressure, allowing the fascia to elongate and be restored to a healthy position. It works very well alongside traditional massage techniques, as by freeing up the fascia, more effective work on the muscles is enabled.

Natural Face Lift Massage:
A comprehensive treatment performed on the face, head, neck and shoulders. It is an excellent treatment for those who carry a large amount of tension in their upper body and is a superb treatment for reducing stress levels. It encourages better circulation for the face and scalp and can assist with sinus drainage, creating a more efficient upper respiratory function.

Indian Head Massage:
Indian Head Massage involves massage to the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, face and scalp, whilst seated in an upright position. It is both subtle and deep and should leave you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated.
